Darlene Hildebrandt is a Canadian photographer and educator with over 35 years behind the camera, from darkroom film retouching to modern digital editing. She founded Digital Photo Mentor, where more than 17,000 students have learned to edit with confidence.
She earned the Master of Photographic Arts (MPA), Canada's highest professional photography designation, from Professional Photographers of Canada. She served as Managing Editor at Digital Photography School from 2013 to 2018, judged competitions for the PPOC, and represented Canada at the 2025 World Photographic Cup.
Her work now is teaching Lightroom Classic, Luminar Neo and Photoshop through structured online courses and the Digital Photo Mentor Community, turning confusing editing tools into workflows you can repeat.
